The exhibition explores how colour has been used within the Archive Collection. Throughout the exhibition you will discover a wide selection of fabrics alongside original paper designs, dye books, colour charts, printing blocks and samples of the Queen’s purple velvet. The exhibition also features a selection of contemporary pieces; set alongside the historical designs from the Archive the contemporary artworks highlights how colour remains a driving force for designers working today.
The exhibition is open every Wednesday and the first Saturday of the month, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Adult Admission £4, concessions £3, children under 16 £2, Art Fund members receive free entry.
