Weaversbazaar is launching a series of tapestry weaving Masterclasses. These will be led by master weavers, recognised as outstanding tapestry artists through both the high standards of their own work and the profile they have established through exhibitions and commissions.
Each Masterclass will have a specific theme or focus and all are aimed at taking intermediate level tapestry weavers to the next level in their practice.
The first Masterclass will be held on 5th and 6th November 2016 with Fiona Hutchinson as tutor.
Taking the theme of Textures of the land and sea – Surface, Structure and Materiality of Tapestry, Fiona will be exploring surface texture through tapestry weaving.
The course will be based in Angmering, West Sussex.
There are nine places available at £170.00 each.
For more details and to book online can be found at Tapestry Masterclasses.
