Would you like to improve your spinning but don’t get time? Do you have a project you’d like some time to get on with? Would you like to learn how to spin ‘Long Draw’? If you answer YES to any of these then this retreat could be just the thing to help you.
Come & enjoy a relaxing stay at Knuston Hall, an elegant 17th century country House that was the home of Robert Arkwright. He bought it in 1865 & was the great grandson of Sir Richard Arkwright, the inventor of the spinning frame. It is clearly signed off the A45. The house is renowned for the quality of its catering. Special diets catered for, advise on booking, confirm when paying bal.
COST – £359.40 inclusive of en-suite room (single or twin available) Breakfast, 3 course buffet Lunch, 3 course dinner, morning coffee with home made biscuits & afternoon tea and cake. A deposit of £40 will secure your place. Balance due by 12/08/2016.
If you live nearer and would prefer to come along each day, the cost is about £50 per day & includes lunch, dinner, coffee and tea breaks. A deposit of £20 will secure your place. Arrive 9am on Mon, Tues & Wed, but 12.30 on Sun. Leave after dinner each evening or continue in the workshop till approx 9pm each evening. There will be a spinning shop in the workroom & possibly a Great Wheel, offering a great experience.
