Mel Sweetnam is giving natural ink and paint making workshop to the Guild next year. This will involve working with smaller quantities of dye material as this is an easier set up in Winter and they can be whatever dyes you have to hand – foraged or purchased natural dyes. In London we should actually be able to forage a few dyes even at that time of year. Mel will also let you know what to forage for now and dry for use in the workshop. The resulting inks and paints can be used on paper and cloth.
The Workshop will take place over two consecutive Sundays as there needs to be some processing done during the week before the second class. Mel will provide written instructions for students and a recording of the workshop will be available for a month to those who have attended. A supplies and equipment list will be available by the end of November 2021.
The Workshop is for 10 participants at £55.00 each for Guild Members. Any places not taken by Guild Members will then be offered to non Guild Members. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org to register your interest.
2.00 PM – 5.00 PM This workshop will be held on Zoom
