Profile

Wendy started to weave in 2000 – a new occupation for a new millennium – and quickly became hooked. She particularly loves exploring the ways in which weave structures and materials can be used to create cloth which looks quite different, sometimes 3D, sometimes wriggly and organic, once it’s removed from the tension of the loom. Wendy is currently the owner of the Handweavers Studio, a shop and teaching studio serving weavers, spinners and other textile artisans in London.
