Hand-crocheted installation at Zürich station
Until 29 July, travellers passing through Zürich’s main station on the way to their holidays will encounter this 65-foot finger-crocheted installation called ‘GaiaMother Tree’ by Brazilian artist Ernesto Neto. The photographs show the intricate knotting and changes of texture that the artist and his team have used to great effect with simple colour changes and allowing the changing light in the environment to vary the experience between night and day.
