Do you have an interest in textiles? Ever wondered how silk is produced? If so, join members of the Bucks Guild of Weavers, Spinners & Dyers for the Susan Mousley lecture by Textile Traders, Diane & Jim Gaffney, (based in Bishop’s Castle, Shropshire). We’ll take a journey along the ancient silk route from Khiva in Uzbekistan to Kasgar in China, looking at the textiles that can be found along the way.

The lecture is about Diane and Jim’s experience along the silk route and promises to be a particularly interesting talk, giving the audience the ability to see many wonderful examples of textiles, with an opportunity to also buy some of the beautiful wares that will be available, from their shop.
