The objectives of the London Guild of Weavers, Spinners and Dyers are:

to share interest in handspinning, handweaving, dyeing, design and creative crafts in general;

to help members study and practise all aspects of the crafts;

to promote awareness of and education in these crafts among the public; and

to cooperate or affiliate with other organisations having similar objects

We were founded in 1950 and have an active membership drawn mainly from London and the Home Counties, but including a number of members living overseas or far afield in the UK. Membership is open to anyone interested in the crafts. Our quarterly publication ‘Warp & Weft’ is included in the membership subscription. The Guild is affiliated to the Association of Guilds of Weavers Spinners and Dyers. We play an active role in the Association.
